* March 6-8 (Thursday through Saturday): Demonstration of Chilkat Weaving at Gustav Heye Center, New York City Clarissa's demonstration and presentation will include Chilkat weaving techniques and tricks-of-the-trade. Open to the general public. For more information, visit the Smithsonian's National Museum of the American Indian website.

* Sunday, April 20th at 10:30am: Storytelling Presentation to the congregation in honor of Earth Day and Children's presentation, Universalist Unitarian Church, Pagosa Springs, CO. Clarissa's storytelling presentation will touch upon the connection of our fellow co-inhabitants, the animals, and how we view them as our relatives, and why. The Children's prsentation will include Chilkat weaving demo and hands-on experience of spinning the warp of wool and cedar bark. Open to the general public.

* Thursday, April 24th at 6pm: Storytelling Presentation at the Annual Storytelling Festival of Pagosa Springs held at the Elementary School from 5-7pm.

* Friday, April 25th at noon: Demonstration of Chilkat Weaving at Senior Citizens Center, Paogsa Springs, CO. Clarissa's demonstration and presentation will include Chilkat weaving techniques and tricks-of-the-trade and a touch of storytelling, of course. Open to the general public.

* Tuesday, June 2, 6pm: HAIL (Honoring Alaska's Indigenous Literature) Awards Ceremony, Juneau Arts & Culture Center, the Old Armory, Juneau, Alaska. Clarissa's "Jennie Weaves An Apprentice: Chilkat Weaving Handbook" was nominated for a HAIL Award.

* June 3 & 4 (Tuesday and Wednesday) 2nd Biennial Northwest Coast Native Artists Gathering, held at the Old Armory, Juneau, Alaska. This event is open to all artists working in the Northwest Coast Native art traditions. For more information, visit the sponsoring organization's website: www.artstream.net
